In 2026, the Shepparton Arts Festival marks an extraordinary milestone: 30 years of bold ideas, shared experiences and creative ambition in regional Australia. This retrospective exhibition invites audiences to step back through the festival’s rich history, tracing its evolution from early beginnings to the vibrant, multi-artform celebration it is today.

Featuring photographic highlights from every festival across the past three decades, the exhibition captures moments of joy, experimentation, risk and connection. From stages, public spaces, and within the community. Together, these images tell the story of a festival shaped by artists, audiences, volunteers and partners who have believed in the power of arts and culture to bring people together.

A celebration of community and imagination, this exhibition honours the longest continuously running arts festival in regional Australia.
