Accessibility

Shepparton Arts Festival is committed to ensuring our events are inclusive, accessible, and welcoming to everyone. We continually strive to improve access and celebrate diversity through thoughtful design and programming.

We value your experience. If you have ideas or feedback on how we could improve accessibility, please email us at hello@sheppartonfestival.org.au.

Each year, an Accessibility Guide will be released alongside the festival program. The guide will include:

  • Detailed information on venue access (ramps, entrances, parking, toilets)

  • Auslan interpreters, captioning, or other communication supports

  • Relaxed, low-sensory and quiet sessions

  • Audio description on selected performances

  • Policies for assistance animals and service dogs

  • Quiet spaces and chill-out zones

  • Contact information for venue-specific queries

The 2025 Accessibility Guide will be available with the full festival program.

We offer a wide range of events that are designed to be:

  • Inclusive — Suitable for people of all abilities and access needs

  • Accessible — With physical, sensory, and communication supports

  • Sensory-rich or sensory-considerate — Providing varying levels of sensory stimulation

Each event will indicate the level of sensory engagement you can expect, helping you choose what best suits your preferences.
