CLAY CREATIONS:
PLATYPUS BY THE RIVER

Join an immersive hands-on workshop held along the riverbank, to create your own clay platypus and etch designs inspired by its unique features and flowing habitat.

Guided by Aboriginal artists, Melinda Soloman and her son Chris Walker, and supported by RiverConnect, the session will explore texture, form, and storytelling through clay, drawing inspiration from the elusive platypus and the tranquil natural environment.

Please note this workshop has very limited places and has been funded by RiverConnect through the Platy Patch project, a four-year statewide initiative jointly funded by the Australian Government, Victorian Government and Melbourne Water.

If you book, we kindly ask that you commit to attending.
