BACK TO BACK THEATRE WORKSHOP

Conversations at work that are not about work

Participants embraced connection, creativity and play in this engaging participatory workshop led by facilitating artists Simon Laherty and Alana Hoggart from the internationally acclaimed Back to Back Theatre.

Blending movement, conversation, games and improvisation, the workshop invited participants to explore the dynamics of human relationships, communication and the everyday conversations that shape our lives beyond the workplace. Through a series of accessible and playful activities, participants reflected on patterns of connection and disconnection while sharing stories, ideas and laughter in a supportive environment.

Open to people of all ages and abilities, the workshop embodied Back to Back Theatre's celebrated inclusive and collaborative approach to performance-making. It offered a rare opportunity for the Greater Shepparton community to work alongside one of Australia's most respected contemporary theatre companies, creating meaningful connections through creativity, curiosity and shared experience.
